A multi-home community in Twisp built around shared spaces, sustainability, and the Methow way of life.
Stonefly is a multi-home community currently in design and planning in Twisp, Washington. Organized around a network of shared outdoor spaces and covered walkways, the project explores a balance between privacy and connection — supporting both individual retreat and a strong sense of neighborhood.
Developed in collaboration with a group of future residents, Stonefly is rooted in values of sustainability, resilience, and long-term stewardship of the land. The design integrates fire-wise strategies, durable materials, and climate-responsive planning to support year-round living in the Methow Valley.
