A clear-span steel museum designed to reduce fire risk in a wildfire-prone region.
This Natures Window natural history museum in Chelan comprises an entrance with gift shop and gallery space, a community meeting space, and 4,600 square feet of museum display space.
The structure is designed as a clear-span steel building. The cost savings of this construction method were considerable, while also reducing fire risk in this wildfire prone location.
